How to Use the Acer Chromebook CP513-1H-S53J

1. Unboxing Your Chromebook

• Carefully remove the Chromebook from its packaging.
• Ensure you have the following items:
  • Acer Chromebook CP513-1H-S53J
  • AC Adapter
  • User manual

2. Charging Your Chromebook

• Connect the AC adapter to the Chromebook and plug it into a power outlet.
• Allow your Chromebook to charge until the battery icon shows it’s fully charged, usually indicated by a solid LED light.

3. Turning On Your Chromebook

• Press the power button located on the side of the device.
• Wait for the boot-up process to complete; this should take only a few moments.

4. Connecting to Wi-Fi

• Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
• Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
• Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted and click ‘Connect’.

• Use Google Drive for cloud storage to save your files.

10. Shutting Down Your Chromebook

• Click on the time in the bottom right corner.
• Select the power icon and click ‘Shut Down’.

11. Troubleshooting

• If your Chromebook freezes, press and hold the power button until it turns off, then turn it back on.
