Getting Started

• Unbox your Surface Go 4 for Business and ensure all items are included:
• Surface Go 4 device
• Power adapter
• User manual
• Charge your device using the power adapter until it’s fully charged.

Turning On Your Device

• Press and hold the power button located on the top edge of the device until the Microsoft logo appears.

Setting Up Windows 11 Pro

• Follow the on-screen instructions to select your region and language.
• Connect to Wi-Fi by selecting your network and entering the password.
• Sign in with your Microsoft account or create a new one.

Using the Touchscreen

• Navigate through Windows 11 using touch gestures:
• Tap to select items.
• Swipe to scroll through pages or apps.
• Pinch to zoom in or out on images and documents.

Using the Kickstand

• Open the built-in kickstand by gently lifting it from the back of the device.
• Adjust the angle for optimal viewing or writing.

Using the Surface Pen for Business

• Pair the Surface Pen by navigating to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
• Use the pen for handwritten notes, drawings, or annotations in applications like OneNote.

Adding a Type Cover

• Attach the Surface Go Type Cover by aligning it with the magnetic connectors on the device.
• Press down to secure it in place.
• Use the Type Cover for a full keyboard experience when typing.

Installing Applications

• Open the Microsoft Store from the taskbar.
• Browse or search for applications you want to install.
• Click ‘Get’ or ‘Install’ to download and install the applications to your device.

Maintaining Your Device

• Keep your device updated by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Power Off Your Device
