How to Use the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2

Getting Started

1. Unbox the Laptop
• Carefully remove the laptop from the packaging.
• Ensure you have all included accessories.
2. Charge the Laptop
• Connect the power adapter to the laptop.
• Plug the adapter into a power outlet.
• Allow the laptop to charge for at least 30 minutes before turning it on.

Powering On

1. Press the power button located on the keyboard.
2. Wait for the Windows 11 Home operating system to boot up.

Setting Up Windows 11

1. Select your language and region.
2. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
3. Sign in with your Microsoft account or create a new one.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Using the Touchscreen

1. Tap the screen to select items.
2. Swipe to scroll through pages or lists.
3. Pinch to zoom in or out on images and documents.

Switching Modes

1. To use in Laptop Mode, open the display fully.
2. To use in Tablet Mode, push the screen back and flatten it.
3. Use the touch screen or the Surface Pen (if available) for drawing and note-taking.

Installing Applications

1. Open the Microsoft Store from the Start Menu.
