How to Use the SanDisk Cruzer Blade 64 GB USB Flash Drive
Getting Started
- Unbox the SanDisk Cruzer Blade USB Flash Drive.
- Identify the USB Type-A connector at one end of the drive.
Connecting the USB Drive
- Locate a USB port on your computer or laptop.
- Insert the USB drive into the USB port. Ensure it is securely connected.
Accessing the Drive
- Once connected, your computer should automatically detect the USB drive.
- Open ‘File Explorer’ (Windows) or ‘Finder’ (Mac).
- Look for the SanDisk Cruzer Blade drive in the list of available drives.
Transferring Files
- To copy files to the USB drive, select the files you want to transfer.
- Right-click on the selected files and choose ‘Copy’.
- Navigate to the SanDisk Cruzer Blade drive in ‘File Explorer’ or ‘Finder’.
- Right-click in the drive window and select ‘Paste’ to transfer the files.
Using SanDisk SecureAccess Software
- Download the SanDisk SecureAccess software from the SanDisk website.
- Install the software on your computer following the on-screen instructions.
- Open the SecureAccess application.
- Follow the prompts to create a password-protected folder for your sensitive files.
- Drag and drop files into this folder to encrypt them with 128-bit AES encryption.
Safely Ejecting the Drive
- Before removing the USB drive, make sure to safely eject it.
- On Windows, right-click on the USB drive icon in ‘File Explorer’ and select ‘Eject’.
- On Mac, right-click on the USB drive icon in ‘Finder’ and select ‘Eject’.
- Once the drive is ejected, you can safely remove it from the USB port.
Troubleshooting
- If the drive is not recognized, try a different USB port.
- Ensure that your operating system is compatible as per the system requirements listed.
- Restart your computer if the drive still does not appear.
