How to Use the Panasonic AW-UE20K Integrated 4K PTZ Camera
Setup Requirements
- Power Supply: 12 V DC or PoE+
- Video Output Cables: 3G-SDI, HDMI, or USB
- Control Device: PC, Mac, Tablet, or Smartphone
- Network Connection: Ethernet for remote control (if using PoE+)
Installation Steps
- Choose a suitable location for your camera with a clear view of the desired area.
- Mount the camera securely using the appropriate mount (not included).
- Connect the camera to a power source using either a 12 V adapter or via PoE+.
- Connect the camera to your video output device (monitor, recorder) using the 3G-SDI, HDMI, or USB ports.
- If using remote control, connect the camera to your network via the RJ-45 port.
Basic Operation
- Power on the camera using the switch or by connecting to power.
- Access the camera’s Web-GUI from your PC, Mac, Tablet, or Smartphone:
- Open a web browser and enter the camera’s IP address.
- Log in with the default credentials (refer to the manual for details).
- Adjust the camera settings as needed using the Web-GUI interface.
- Use the camera controls to pan, tilt, and zoom as desired. The camera supports:
- Panning range: -30° to 90°
- Tilting range: 170° +/-
- 12x optical zoom for clear close-ups.
Video Output Configuration
- Select the desired video output format through the Web-GUI settings.
- Available formats include:
- 3840x2160p30
- 1920x1080p60
- 1280x720p60
- Ensure the connected device supports the selected format.
Audio Input and Output
- Connect an audio source to the 3.5mm audio input jack.
- Ensure the audio settings are configured in the Web-GUI for proper embedding.
- Monitor the output through connected devices and adjust as necessary.
Tally Light Usage
- The integrated tally light indicates the camera’s operational status:
- Red: Camera is live.
- Green: Camera is ready but not live.
