How to Use the Tilta Swing Away Adapter (MB-T17-SAA)
What You Will Need
- Tilta Swing Away Adapter (MB-T17-SAA)
- Tilta Mirage Pro Matte Box
- Camera with compatible lens
- Focus peaking (optional, not included)
- 3mm Allen key (included)
Step 1: Prepare the Matte Box
- Ensure the Tilta Mirage Pro Matte Box is securely attached to your camera rig.
- Check that the matte box is clean and free of any debris.
Step 2: Attach the Swing Away Adapter
- Align the Swing Away Adapter with the mounting points on the Matte Box.
- Use the provided 3mm Allen key to secure the adapter to the matte box.
- Ensure the adapter is tightly fastened for a secure connection.
Step 3: Adjust the Tilt Mechanism
- Gently tilt the adapter to reduce ghosting effects and reflections.
- Adjust until you achieve the desired angle for optimal image quality.
Step 4: Attach Your Lens
- Choose the lens you want to use for your shoot.
- Carefully attach the lens to the camera body.
- Ensure the lens is securely in place before proceeding.
Step 5: Switch Lenses (if needed)
- To switch lenses, simply swing the adapter away from the camera.
- Replace the current lens with a new one.
- Return the adapter to its original position and secure it.
